Irrigation in arable farming - symposium in the district of Uelzen

In view of the consequences of climate change, the irrigation of crops is becoming increasingly important. A two-day event entitled "Irrigation in arable farming - challenges and potentials of innovations" will therefore take place in the district of Uelzen on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31, 2024.

Annual review of field research in 2023

A year ago, the research team led by Professor Klaus Röttcher from the Institute for Sustainable Irrigation and Water Management in Rural Areas (INBW) of the Faculty of Building, Water and Soil started the first field trials in the 5G in Agriculture project.
