In agricultural regions, the new 5G mobile communications standard can also open up numerous new areas of application in agriculture.

With the "5G in agriculture" project, the district of Uelzen, together with the committed consortium partners, wants to make a real contribution to resource conservation, sustainability and services of general interest in the district of Uelzen and show which digital business areas exist in rural areas.

The project is part of the digitization strategy that the district has set up to proactively shape the digital future in the region.
